Hi all..
How are you. Vacation is over. So little busy with my LO's. So this time came with a simple recipe.
Just a egg omletee but with a little twist. It requires a little patience to do this but the end result will be awesome. This is adapted from a Korean recipe.
Waiting for the story about name..๐.. hmmm.. as the ingredients is known so no story. But to a toddler you can give a intro like # wheels on the plate, round round # ( wheels on the bus rhymes,๐๐๐ค)..
S.. wheels on the plate to the kiddos who got wheels on the legs.
Ingredients:
- Eggs - 3
- Chopped onion- 1
- Carrot grated -1
- Pepper and jeera powder- 1/2tsp
- Garam masala powder -1/4 tsp
- Salt- as needed
- Milk -2 tsp
Method:
- Keep everything ready.
- Now you need to separate egg yolk and white.
- Mix milk with egg white and salt. Beat well.
- Beat the egg yolk well with salt.
- Now heat the tawa. A flat one will be good. Put in low to medium flame
- Drizzle some oil. In the center of tawa pour small amount of egg white mixture in a straight line. Put pepper powder n garam masala.
- I got some dried herbs so added it with carrot.
- Once you feel it's half cooked like you can move it without breaking it. Pour the egg yolk mixture near to it.
- Both should join like this.
- Put powders n carrot over it.
- Now move away this to corner and pour egg white mixture., followed by the yolk mixture.
- Roll the first done one , while the second set is cooking.
- Be careful not to break the joints.
- Repeat until you are done with egg. ( A rectangular tawa gives better shape).
- Once done place it in a plate. Let it cool.
- Once it's cool enough to touch., Cut into pieces. Serve immediately.
- That's it wheels are ready to run into your mouth ๐๐ .
- Will come with another awesome recipe soon. Take care everyone..
